In Ibiza two important archeological sites can be found: Es Puig des Molins and Sa Caleta. Both are protected by the Unesco. The Sa Caleta site found in the district of Sant Josep is known since 1978. It is an example of the Phoenician seat of the VII and VIII centuries b. c. in the Mediterranean. The protection of these sites by the Unesco and Es Puig Des Molins allows us to continue studying the way of life of ancient civilisations.
